We are a group of people who are passionate about the rights of children, the needs for every child to know their rights and have those rights protected and promoted and for every child to have peace, be safe and have access to basic needs. We are passionate about creating hope in vulnerable children and uplifting children in need.
In the year of 2015, the founder, Mercy Wairimu discovered that she a very strong desire to help children in need. She had a passion for empowering and educating children on their legal rights and she first began by doing civic education in schools and churches. She was passionate about every child knowing and understanding their constitutional rights especially the right to have them respected and protected. She actively helped vulnerable children access legal services some-times from lawyers who would volunteers and even fund for the legal services from her own pocket.
Along the way she joined hands with others who were willing to support her mission with a goal to protect the rights of children. With the rise in children defilement cases, children molestation, children kidnapping and trafficking, early pregnancy, children defilement by close relatives, poverty, lack of basic needs, psychological struggles; the need to create a safe environment for all children has only become more necessary.
